With over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and adults across counselling, social work, and education, I bring a broad understanding of the challenges people face at different stages of life. I also bring a personal understanding of the unique demands that can come with being part of a first responder family. As the spouse of a first responder, I understand the worry, stress, uncertainty, and impact that this work can have on individuals, relationships, and family life. This diverse personal and professional experience allows me to view each person through a holistic, strengths-based lens while tailoring therapy to their unique needs and goals. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward lasting growth and well-being.
When I’m not in the counselling room, you’ll often find me curled up with a good mystery or thriller, working on a creative writing project, painting a landscape, exploring a hiking trail, or searching for my next favourite café somewhere in the Lower Mainland. I have always loved storytelling and creativity, including writing for both children and adults, and these interests continue to bring me curiosity, imagination, and joy.
I have completed the educational requirements for registration and am currently awaiting approval of my Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
With gratitude,
Kelly
